Homer's newest opponent

As reported today by many news outlets, both Homer and his wife Janet have been diagnosed with cancer.  We wish them well and will be praying for a quick recovery. Here is the article from the Times today.

I was told this health concern was not a factor into Homer retiring earlier this Summer.

Hopefully Coach had changed his position about wanting this information publicized before Brandon Wood decided it was a good idea to tweet it to the world (I'm sure he meant well).  Regardless, hopefully the abundance of thoughts and prayers will pay off for the Drew family!
